Hello everyone,
Just thought I would add a note here about my recovery. I saw my PM&R doctor for a follow-up today. He said my recovery is still going well and I won't have to see him again! Yay! Next on my list is a follow-up appointment with my neurologist for an electromyography (EMG). With comparison to the EMG they did in the hospital, it will determine what nerves have come back and where there is still nerve damage.
I am still pretty week in the legs and still have some loss of feeling in my feet, but I am still noticing improvement every week. Let's hope it continues. I still have four physical therapy sessions left and I plan to use them wisely. After that, I will continue working out at home on a recumbent stepper machine.
I've added two photos from my first week in the hospital. I am glad I don't remember that part. That's it for now.
